- DC-8 Engine Repair RFQ Q-3 Q 1A-E DC-8 Engine Repair SOW NASA/AFRC has a requirement for.... This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 80AFRC20Q0006 and is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005 - 99. CLINS Description 001 Inspection of four (4) P/N CFM56-2C1 engines $TBP 002 Repair and checkout P/N CFM56-2C1 Serial 692622 $TBP after inspection 003 Repair and checkout P/N CFM56-2C1 Serial 692630 $TBP after inspection 004 Repair and checkout P/N CFM56-2C1 Serial 692632 $TBP after inspection 005 Repair and checkout P/N CFM56-2C1 Serial 692157 $TBP after inspection 006 Removal of Fan Frame engine P/N CFM56-2C1 Serial 692477 $TBP 007 Removal and Replacement of Front Fan Frame P/N CFM56-2C1 Serial 692633 $TBP 008 Over and Above NTE $600,000 009 Pick up Engines Two per shipment (Palmdale, CA to Contractor's facility) $TBP 010 Delivery of Engines Two per shipment (From Contractor's facility to Palmdale, CA) $TBP NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html Place of Delivery: Armstrong Flight Research Center Delivery term is FOB Destination. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. However, any award from this RFQ shall require the potential vendor to be certified within the System for Award Management System (SAM) and completion of Reps and Certs in the SAM system prior to award at www.sam.gov. The FAR may be obtained via the Internet at URL: http://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.html The NFS may be obtained via the Internet at URL: http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/procurement/regs/nfstoc.html Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212.3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. These representations and certifications will be incorporated by reference in any resultant contract. Responses to this combined synopsis/solicitation must be received via email no later than 10:00 AM PT on November 4, 2019. All contractual and technical questions must be in writing (e-mail) to Rosalia Toberman and Jamill Hayes no later than 9:00 AM PT on October 30, 2019. Telephone questions will not be accepted.
