- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation has been prepared with the intent to award on a competitive basis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The solicitation number N0024420Q0008 is issued as a request for quotation RFQ. The closing date is 04 November 2019 at 11:00am PST. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 201906 and DFARS Change Notice 20191001. This acquisition is Other than Full and Open competition. This is a brand name requirement IAW FAR 6.302 1. The contract type is Firm Fixed Price. Brief Requirement Description, for full description, please refer to the attached Performance Work Statement: The requirement is for repair services to Eaton Uninterruptable Power Supply Units. Due to the installation of heat curtains surrounding the Uninterruptable Power Supply Units, aluminum metal shavings fell into the units causing the units to malfunction. In order to avoid additional electrical component failure, removal of the shavings and repair is required. The scope includes the cleaning, repair including the procurement of all repair equipment, parts and material and firmware upgrade of Two Eaton Model Uninterruptable Power Supply Units. Quote MUST be valid for 60 days after award. IAW FAR 52.212 2 the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers i.Responsibility Determination ii.Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offerors are required to become familiar with the attached Evaluation Criteria. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offers specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer or part of an offer, whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. The Government will only consider firm fixed-price quotations. Offeror must complete and submit with the quotation FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items MAR 2012.
