- Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for firms capable of providing Pharmacy Inventory Service at the Northport VA Medical Center located at 79 Middleville Rd, Northport, NY 11768. The contractor shall include all products purchased from the prime vendor as well as any direct purchases. The inventory is further limited to medication and supplies that are dispensed to patients. Items such as equipment and prescription labels and vials are excluded. The inventory is limited to areas that are under the direct control of each pharmacy. If products are open, the quantity should be estimated to the nearest 10th of a bottle. The contractor should have had prior experience with McKesson software packages as they relate to inventory and drug cost. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 561990 (All Other Support Services) and the standard size is $12 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is R799 (Support Management -Other). All responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email: charnell.cunningham@va.gov) and must be received not later than October 31, 2019 at 10:00AM EST. Interested parties shall provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities (resumes), DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time may not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 561990. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
