- Description: Project#: CM19239005 Solicitation# SPE7M5-20-R-0004 PR#: 1000080925 NSN: 5950-01-057-7744 Item Description: Transformer Type of Set Aside: Unrestricted NAICS Code: 334416 Size Standard: 500 AMC/AMSC: 2/B This solicitation will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) under Other Than Full and Open Competition FAR 6.302 (c) (1) in-accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 15 procedures for the described supplies. A Base Period of 1 year and four separate 1-year Options with a total duration not to exceed 5 years are anticipated. The total contract value is estimated not to exceed $1,576,380.00. Procurement is restricted to source(s) specified on the "Source Controlled" drawing. Once the solicitation is issued, Procurement Note L22 - Restriction of Alternate Offers for Source Controlled Items will apply. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract for only approved source(s) or their suppliers under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2340 (c)(1). Approved source(s): Curtiss-Wright Controls (00288) P/N P4501-0 Kavlico Corporation (22863) P/N GM6463 Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. Annual Demand Quantity: 470 EA Price breaks from 25 EA up to 564 EA will be included in the Base Year and each of the 4 Option years of the solicitation FOB Origin, Inspection / Acceptance Destination First Destination Transportation (FDT) applies. Procurement Notes C16 & C17 Delivery: 495 days for all quantity ranges Ship-To Address: Shipping instructions to a DLA Direct procurement location shall be provided with individual delivery orders. Material ordered under the terms of this contract shall be delivered within 30 days after the date of the order. Notwithstanding any other provisions/clauses of this contract, no deliveries shall be made prior to issuance of delivery order (DD Form 1155). This solicitation will issue in November 2019 as an RFP. It will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil Hard copies of this solicitation are not available, and must be downloaded from the internet site above. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Reverse Auctioning: This solicitation will not contain Procurement Note L09- Reverse Auction (RA).
