The Drawing for this project will be available on 23 September 2019 due to size and formatting. _________________________________________________________ The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking a firm to convert the two primary-metered overhead services to standard underground services at the Department of Energy (DOE) Weldon Spring Site (WSS). The work consist of the following: Replace the North Feeder overhead electric service with an underground service per the requirements of 33 71 02 UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION; Convert electrical equipment in the Leachate Collection and Removal System (LCRS) Building (Leachate Building) to make it 120/240V single-phase; Replace the South Feeder overhead electric service with an underground service per the requirements of 33 71 02 UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION; Demolish the overhead conductors and telephone poles associated with the North service and Demolish the switchgear and existing underground service to the Waste Water Treatment System (WWTS) associated with the South service. Secondary wiring and conduits from the switchgear to the Lab for it and the Office Trailers shall also be removed. Note that the exiting poles and overhead conductors shall remain in place to serve the existing Interpretive Center. Solicitation Number: W912P919B0005 is a Small Business Set-Aside, competitive procurement. NAICS code for the work is 237130. The SBA size standard is $39.5 Million. A scheduled site visit along with the closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and a public bid opening will be held. The solicitation package will be issued on or about 20 September 2019. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov./. For changes to the issue date or any other changes to the information in this synopsis, potential offerors are responsible to check the posting on FedBizOpps. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.
