Description

Modifying/Amending the solicitation due to vendor questions: Question #1. Will there be any special elements to consider? For example, nitrogen in stainless steel. Please let us know if that will need to be factored in for the design of the instrument. Answer#1. We do NOT require nitrogen or oxygen in any of the methods. I know those two are usually special elements that have to be specifically added to an OES. Question #2. Calibration Standards will be a significant expense for the number of different matrices and alloys in your SOW. Do you have any certified standards and standardization standards that we could include with our standards when calibrating the instrument? If you do, and if we can use them, it will help to reduce the calibration section of the quotation. Answer #2. We do NOT have standards for the vendor/contractor to use. They will have to supply all the standards that would be needed.
