- THIS IS ONLY A SOURCES SOUGHT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT AN OFFER. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Northwestern Division, Portland District (CENWP) has been tasked to solicit a contract for the fabrication of nine main unit coolers, three station coolers. The work requires reverse engineering and providing drawings of the fabricated coolers. The new coolers must be essentially identical to the existing coolers located at The Dalles Dam. The Government intends to furnish 1 each of the coolers as a reference for reverse engineering purposes. The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract. Responses to this Sources Sought announcement will be used by the Government to make, if appropriate, a small business set-aside acquisition strategy decision. Responses from large and small businesses are encouraged.
