- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Commercial Items, and FAR 13.5 Simplified procedures for certain commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written Combined /Synopsis solicitation on an SF1449 will not be issued. The solicitation number is N6264520RCES002. The solicitation is issued in response to the Notice of Intent posted to FBO on 15 October 2019. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03 are incorporated. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: http://acquisition.gov/far. The NAICS code is 811219, with a size standard of $22M.This is not a solicitation for quotes. This is the solicitation associated with the Notice of Intent to Sole Source under the requirement for Varian Maintenance under Special notice N6264520RCES002. The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends on awarding a single stand alone contract as a result of this solicitation in support of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA to Varian Medical Systems, Inc.
