- This Sources Sought is to obtain market information and capabilities for planning purposes and to determine appropriate strategies to meet the Agency's requirements. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to the Sources Sought Notice. Information received from this Sources Sought Notice may be utilized in preparing potential solicitation documentation. It is the contractor's responsibility to identify proprietary information in response to this notice. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources. NAICS Code 541690: Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services Response Due Date: Wednesday, November 7, 2018 @ 1300 Pacific Time Send Responses to: Sarah Anaya “ sanaya@usbr.gov Potential vendors shall provide the following information at a minimum in order to be considered a viable source: Vendor Required Information Submittals: 1. Business Size & Classification(s) 2. Contact Information (Name, Phone email & website (If Applicable) 3. Capabilities Statements 4. Appropriate documentation that demonstrates the following capabilities: 1)Provide appropriate documentation which demonstrates the ability to conduct spawning and stranding surveys, to include: The ability to provide field support, data analysis and equipment to conduct spawning and stranding surveys in order to support technical evaluations of progress towards the lower American River monitoring requirements. a.Included in this objective is a need to: -Plan and organize for the safe conduct of field studies; -Collect and perform quality assurance of the appropriate field data; -Prepare interim updates and report on project progress; and, -compile and create electronic databases necessary to analyze data collected for inclusion to reports (end of survey and end-of-season). 2)Provide appropriate documentation which demonstrates the ability to furnish a seasonal work crew on an annual basis, comprised of one fisheries biologist, one fisheries technician (GIS competency), and the necessary field support staff to survey for redds (January until approximately mid-April) within a 12.9-mile reach of the lower American River between Nimbus Dam and the Watt Avenue Bridge. *Appropriate documentation shall constitute the following: 1) A PDF Copy of past government or private sector contract for this type of services to include the contact information for contracting representative or office that awarded or administered the contract (Shall include at a minimum: Name, Email, Phone Number of the point of contract). It is the respondent ™s responsibility to ensure all information provided is accurate and complete. *If any of the required information, items 1 to 4 is not submitted in its entirety by the response date, the vendor will be considered incapable of providing the required services and shall not be considered a viable source for market research purposes.
