- This contract is the base award for the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head 8(a) small business Mini Job Order Contract (JOC). The 8 (a)Mini JOC will be used to award task orders for one base year plus one option year. The Contractor shall perform the requirements as identified in each individual task order through a Statement of Work, Scope of Work, Drawings and/or specifications at NSF Indian Head and the surrounding annexes NSF Indian Head supports. The contract was awarded as a Sole Source award under the 8(a) Program. The statutory authority permitting this sole source of services is Authorized or Required by Statute, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5) or 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5). Guidance regarding use of this authority is a FAR 6.302-5(b)(4) "Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program (15 U.S.C. 637), but see 6.303 for requirements for justification and approval of sole-source 8(a) awards over $22 million. (See Subpart 19.8.)"
