- Description
- Justification and Approval for the award. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC), Division of Economic and Risk Analysis (DERA) has a requirement for Annual License Renewals for Statistical Analysis System (SAS) Support and Operations and Maintenance. This requirement is for annual license renewals for SAS software that can mine, alter, manage and retrieve data from a variety of sources and perform statistical analysis on that data via a graphical user interface of through SAS programming language. The products for purchase are SAS server and client desktop licenses. SAS server and client desktop technology will allow the SEC's DERA to integrate data across environments, enabling them to unify computing efforts while focusing on analysis. Economists, analysts, and statisticians within DERA and throughout the Commission will use these licenses. A Limited Source Justification (LSG) # 2019-117 was reviewed and approved on 09/13/2019.
