- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Portland, OR has a requirement for fish marking and tagging services located at Coleman NFH in Anderson, CA. The anticipated performance period is from January 23, 2020 to April 30, 2020 This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is UNRESTRICTED and is conducted under the procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 13, incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-06. The NAICS code is 561320 and the small business size standard is $30.0 Million. Instructions All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made as a firm-fixed-price contract. The basis of award is the best value to the government when considering price (fair and reasonable), past performance, and past experience. Award will be made to a responsible source pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1. Interested contractors shall submit a narrative which demonstrates their successful execution of performing marking and tagging within the past five (05) years. At a minimum, documentation shall state the following: 1) Hatcheries Worked at, 2) Type of Program Carried Out (i.e. species of fish handled, type of trailer used and type of tag used) and 3) Work Reference (e.g.Hatchery Manager or Tagging Supervisor). Work references shall include name, phone number, agency, and email address. Private sector experience may be utilized for this requirement. Please submit your quotation (showing unit and total price) on company letterhead or the enclosed SF-1449 with DUNS No. and point of contact phone number and e-mail address. Additionally, if your company holds a GSA contract that would apply to this requirement, please provide the contract number.
