- Questions & Answers The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Bioniquest Lab Services for Maintenance contract agreement for 2 Beckman MDQ Capillary Electrophoresis and 4 Beckman High Pressure Liquid Chromatography instruments. The service engineer has Beckman instrument repair training and also has a minimum of 15 years of field service experience on the instrumentation. Bioniquest also guarantees a 48 hour response time, and a 4 hour telephonic response by the service engineer. Bioniquest also uses all genuine OEM parts and maintains a local warehouse of parts for the Beckman equipment in Georgia. In addition, No other direct vendors have been identified which provide full support for these instruments. Also all computers need to be covered under the contract as they run on the old versions of the software which are not compatible with the newer operating systems.Only BioNiQuest guaranties: Onsite priority response ( 4-hr phone response from service engineer and 48 hrs priority on-site response guaranteed) All labor and travel fees are included All parts and non-consumables are covered free of charge Software and hardware upgrades included It's imperative that our systems are kept running with as little down time as possible. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
