- The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with L3Harris. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 0001: Part No. GCS-1524X-200 QTY: 2 ITEM 0002: Part No. GCS-1524A-050 QTY: 2 ITEM 0003: Part No. GCS-1524C2-01 QTY: 2 ITEM 0004: Part No. 1500-TRK-00. QTY: 6 ITEM 0005: Part No. 1524A-RK-050. QTY: 2 NIWC Pacific will be procuring the above-modified commercial items (Hawkeye III 2.4M Modem-less Terminal). The terminal is used for ground based satellite communication. Based on the approved Justification and Approval (J&A) (which will be posted after award), there is only one responsible source and no other supplier will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. The applicable NAICS Code is 334220 and the business size standard is 1,250 employees. The point of contact for this announcement is Ruben Martinez at ruben.martinez@navy.mil. This notice is not a request for quotes; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency.
