The purpose of this amendment is to make changes to the solicitation as follows (changes in bold): 1. The language under FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items will change from: The following solicitation provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items Offeror Submission Package: Offers must be submitted on company letterhead. Commercial format is encouraged. All offerors shall include the following information as part of their quote: Legal Business/Company Name (as listed in www.sam.gov) DUNS Number Point of Contact Name Telephone number Email Address -Pricing shall be submitted using the schedule provided in this document -Technical Package for Evaluation: Description of proposed sod to include certification/technical specifications Confirmation of solicitation s delivery and retrieval requirements To: The following solicitation provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items Offeror Submission Package: Offers must be submitted on company letterhead. The language under FAR 52.212-2 EVALUATION SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES will change from: 52.212-2 EVALUATION SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES Basis for Award. The Government will issue a purchase order to the responsible quoter whose quotation conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotations: Technical Price Past Performance Evaluation Approach. The Government will evaluate quotations based on a lowest priced, technically acceptable basis. Quotations may exceed minimum requirements of the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to select a quotation that provides benefit to the Government that exceeds the minimum requirements of the solicitation, but is not required to do so. Each response must meet the minimum requirements of the solicitation. The Government is not requesting or accepting alternate quotations. The evaluation will consider the following: Technical: The quotation will be evaluated to the extent to which it can meet and/or exceed the Government s requirements as outlined in the solicitation and based on the information requested in the instructions to quoters section of the solicitation. All salient characteristics of the equipment, delivery time frame, and pick up time frame must be met in order to be technically acceptable.
