- This is a notice of intent to extend the current Gillem Enclave Base Operations and Maintenance Support Services(BASOPS) contract (W91249-15-C-0006) for 4-months from December 01, 2019 thru March 31, 2020 on an SOLE SOURCE basis. A pre-solicitation notice for the Gillem Enclave BASOPS 5-year follow-on requirement was posted on FedBizOpps on July 01, 2019 along with a draft copy of the PWS to solicit responses from HUBZone small businesses. A determination not to compete this requirement is based upon maintaining continuity of services while allowing sufficient time to solicit and award the competitive follow-on contract. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed sole source will be a 4-month extension to Reengineered Business Solutions, Inc. The contract type will remain a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) with cost reimbursable supplies and materials CLINS. The requirement is to perform Base Operations and Maintenance Support services, which shall include but not limited to providing all management, supervision, personnel, training, travel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and any other items necessary as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as Government furnished property (GFP) and services. The Installation Support services shall include the following functional areas: Work Management and Administration; Project Accomplishment Services (includes maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects); Environmental Effects Services; Pest Control Services; Facilities Maintenance and Repair Services; Maintenance - Grounds; Maintenance - Surfaced and Unsurfaced Areas, and Real Property Maintenance Activity Supply. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider any responses received by 12:00 pm EST on November 13, 2019. MICC - Fort Gordon will not responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
