Description

The purpose of this amendment to the solicitation is to address questions from prospective vendors and to modify the language on page 2 of the RFQ. Question 1: Paragraph 19 of the PWS states The Contractor shall be responsible for supplying all equipment, personnel, tools, supplies and materials necessary to perform the services required by this contract.   Can you please clarify whether the contractor is required to supply toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, trash liners, and/or any additional consumable items? Answer 1: Yes. The contractor shall be responsible for all consumable items. Question 2: The pricing sheet in the RFQ references CLINS ending in 011 that we are to price custodial services in weekly units.   The Performance Work Statement section 3.8 requires custodial tasks to be performed daily. Invoicing is generally required to occur monthly.   Therefore, if we are required to price in weekly units, there will be months when only partial week units will appear on the invoice.   Please clarify? Answer 2: Invoices will be submitted every four weeks, in arrears. Question 3: On Page 2 of the RFQ it states:   PRICE SCHEDULE:   Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools and supplies to complete grave excavations, interments, and grounds and facility maintenance services to maintain the Louisiana National Cemetery located at 303 W Mount Pleasant Road, Zachary, LA 70791, following National Cemetery Administration standards.     Can you clarify that grave excavations and interments  are not part of the scope of work? Answer 3: No grave excavations or interments are not part of the scope of work. 1. The language on page 2 of the RFQ in the price schedule is changed from, PRICE SCHEDULE: Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools and supplies to complete grave excavations, interments, and grounds and facility maintenance services to maintain the Louisiana National Cemetery located at 303 W Mount Pleasant Road, Zachary, LA 70791, following National Cemetery Administration standards. Contract period will consist of a base period from January 1, 2020 (or date of contract award), through September 30, 2020, with up to four (4) one-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2024. Units and services to be in accordance with Performance Work Statement, Technical Specifications, Performance Incentives/Disincentives, terms and conditions contained in this solicitation.
