Description
The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to complete project DKGV 13-2214, Modernize Foster Creek Family Camp, at Joint Base Charleston - Weapons Station, Goose Creek, South Carolina, with an anticipated performance time of 350 calendar days. The work to be performed consist of the demolition of two existing facilities and, demolish 55 existing concrete slabs remaining from a previous use of the site as a mobile home park. To support the modernization of Foster Creek Family Camp, a one-story support facility consisting of a laundry and vending area, office space storage room, multi-purpose room, vestibule and separate male and female toilet and shower areas, and laundry area will be constructed. The facility includes roof and exterior finishes in accordance with Base Architectural Compatibility Plan, installation of walls, doors, windows, ceilings, toilet, shower, and sink fixtures, lighting fixtures, utility systems, interior finishes, communications support for voice and data systems, comprehensive interior design, site improvements, fire/safety, seismic, and ADA compliant. Also, provide 55 adequately sized concrete pads of required strength to accommodate modern recreational vehicles, and 55 separate pads to support picnic tables. Last, provide two inch mill and overlay on road surface indicated in the design drawings as “Overlay Pavement Area”
