- Description
- The Department of Navy (DoN), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field(WOLF), Airborne Systems Integration (ASI) Division provides the rapid insertion and transition of advancedtechnologies, systems, sensors, and weapons to enable programs of record, as well as deliver direct insertion ofcapabilities to meet urgent fleet needs. The ASI Division is responsible for a number of advanced technologydevelopment, engineering, implementation, and fielding projects for the Department of Defense (DoD). Theseresponsibilities include project management, research of both basic and applied applications, evaluation of newtechnologies, development of cutting edge systems, and administrative tasks. This Statement of Work(SOW)/Performance Work Statement (PWS) defines the requirements to support the ASI Division.Specifically, the ASI Division has a requirement to procure services in support of the integration of airbornecapabilities to include, but not limited to, sensors, communications systems, weapons systems, and controltechnologies for a variety of manned and unmanned airborne platforms. This SOW/PWS will provide therequirements necessary for the Contractor to complete and support these integrations, to include, but not limited to,project management; research; analysis; design; parts and materials procurement; installation and integration; testand evaluation; user and maintainer training; and on-demand operational support of urgent limited objectiveexperiments.
