Description
The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC), intends to acquire the CSEL non-rechargeable battery, BA-5301A/U, NSN 6135-01-568-3234 to support the AN/PRQ-7 Combat Survivor/Evader Locator (CSEL) radio.Requirements Description:The batteries are described by performance specifications with distribution limited as follows, and will be made available to DoD Contractors during the solicitation."DISTRIBUTION STATEMENT D: Distribution authorized to the DoD and DoD Contractors only (Administrative or Operational Use) (April 2008). Other requests shall be referred to Electronic Systems Center (ESC), Air Force Material Command, USAF, 50 Griffiss Street, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-1620 (Code ESC/NI)."This is a follow-on acquisition to items previously procured by the government (SPRBL1-18-D-0014 and SPRBL1-18-D-0015).Requested Response Information:Sources that can manufacture or supply the listed battery are requested to submit information to show their capabilities. At a minimum, information submitted should include but is not limited to the following types of documentation: Questionnaire, and information on previous Government and commercial contracts.In your response, please include your company name, CAGE code, and a technical point of contract with email address and telephone number.Notice, Response Due Date, and Points of Contact: This is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this SSA or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this SSA. This Sources sought announcement (SSA) is for planning and market research purposes only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business.
