- PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT!The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing a sources sought notice on behalf of the U.S. Joint Manufacturing Technology Center - Rock Island Arsenal (RIA), Rock Island, IL in an effort to identify capable sources for the production and delivery of Housing, Recoil Spring, in accordance with the attached drawing.JCP approval is required to access the drawing.Drawings are applied Distribution Statement D, distribution authorized to the Department of Defense (DOD) and US DOD Contractors Only. These documents contain technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., SEC 2751, ET SEQ.) or the Export Administration Act of 1979 (Title 50, U.S.C., APP 2401 ET SEQ.), as Amended. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. Disseminate in accordance with provisions of DOD Directive 5230.25.Drawings are attached, however, based on their Distribution D status, explicit access is required which means that contractor must request access in beta.SAM and will not be accepted unless they have an approved JCP account.Certificate of Conformance and Certified Test Report is required for the item.RESPONSES: Interested companies who consider themselves capable, are invited to indicate their interest in providing the U.S. Government with the following information: Company Name, CAGE code, size status. Provide a brief summary of the company’s capabilities. Estimated delivery schedule after date of order.This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response. The Government will not accept requests for meetings or briefings. No phone solicitations or email with regards to the status of the Request for quote (RFQ) will be accepted prior to its release.
