Description
Provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove the existing MAU (Make-Up Air Unit), and all associated assemblies, located in B415 at the Tomah VA Medical Center, and replace with a new MAU, and all associated assemblies, in accordance with the Statement of Work.The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 238220 Plumbing Heat and Air Conditioning Contracting THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Requirements: Removal of existing MAU intake louver, as needed for an access hole into building for removal of existing MAU and installation of new MAUDisconnect existing ductwork, steam supply & condensate lines and all other MAU to building infrastructure connections, to include but not be limited to, power, data and all MAU to structure mechanical fastening systems.Remove and dispose of the existing MAU from B415. Provide and install one (1) new 15,000 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) 480V/3Ph/60Hz., double wall construction, unit mounted integral VFD (Variable Frequency Drive), with fused disconnect, BackNet control card, steam coil/face & bypass, with all required Merv 8 filters.Provide all the necessary crane, and crane rigging service for the removal of existing MAU and installation of new MUA and all related assemblies.Re-connect existing ductwork, steam supply & condensate lines and all other MAU to building infrastructure connections, to include but not be limited to, power, data and all MAU to structure mechanical fastening systems.Install all required thermal pipe insulation to replace insulation that was removed.Re-install existing intake louver after installation on new MAU. Connect to new intake ductwork as required.Insulate new intake duct as needed where old insulation was removed.Provide all necessary services for Direct-Digital control modifications required with new MAU installation.Provide all services for new MAU system testing, equipment start-up and training.It is the expectation of the government that all labor categories will be properly licensed/certified in all anticipated categories.All MAU components, parts and related assemblies shall be OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).Any changes to this SOW shall be authorized and approved only through written modification of this contract from the CO (Contracting Officer) in coordination with the COR (Contracting Officers Representative). Costs incurred by the contractor through the actions of parties other than the Contracting Officer shall be borne by the contractor. Notwithstanding, the Contractor shall perform no additional work without the prior written authorization of the Contracting Officer. Any additional work, which may be performed by the Contractor without this approval, will be performed by the Contractor at no additional cost to the Government.If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address if applicable, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort and documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated.BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, SOLE SOURCED OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.
