- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATIONW912DS20T0004This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-01.This procurement is being solicited as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The applicable NAICS Code 333923. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees.The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) to procure and contract for all services related to providing one (1) new Thru-Deck Vertical Deck Capstan for use in replacing the existing aft Original Equipment New England Trawler capstan on the U.S. Drift Collection Vessel GELBERMAN. The GELBERMAN is owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for this work.The vessel is currently equipped with two (2) Thru-Deck Vertical above Deck Capstans. The Forward capstan is a Schollerhorn Albrecht Capstan Model SA1817-36-5/5 that was installed in the vessels last shipyard availability.
