Description

The US Army Futures Command, Combat Capabilities Command (AFC:CCDC), Natick Contracting Division, intends to award a firm, fixed-price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source, to SDS International, Inc., Fredericksburg, VA 22401, for preventative maintenance, repair, and upgrade of a ISCULL Virtual Lab and Cognitive-Science Mini-Dome/Simulated Weapons Assessment Station (SWAS).SDS International, Inc. is the only known source that is capable of providing this proprietary combination of hardware, software, and support services capable of maintaining the Government’s Cognitive-Science Mini-Dome/Simulated Weapons Assessment Station (SWAS) system.This is not a request for quotes. No solicitation package is available. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services.
