- Special Notice to award under Solicitation: W81K0220Q0025Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Cell, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award under solicitation W81K0220Q0025 to Zimmer US, Inc in the amount of $50,000.00 for Orthopedic & Spinal Implants for an 03 Priority surgical procedure 0n 27 November 2019, at Department of Anesthesia and Operative Services / Madigan Army Medical Center Tacoma WA. The Surgeon has made the determination that these products will best meet the patient’s needs during surgery and these products must be FDA Approved. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, email; walter.j.bischoff.civ@mail.mil .
