- This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition - one responsible source. The applicable NAICS Code is 511210. The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA intends to award a sole source contract to:Harris Geospatial Solutions, Inc.385 Interlocken Crescent, Suite 300Broomfield, CO 80021The MCI-NCR RCO intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This requirement is for the procurement to renew current licensing for annual maintenance renewal for Jagwire Software for the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA). This renewal is intended to ensure continuity in and seamless operation of the Jagwire software application. This annual maintenance renewal is required in order to maintain support for software updates, security patching, and product troubleshooting.Procurement planning for the follow-on effort is currently in process, and award is expected to be made on or around December 10, 2019, in accordance with fair opportunity under Far Part 13 procedures.The contract is for a period of a base year from 31 October 2019 through 30 October 2020. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to eileen.rivera@usmc.mil no later than December 9, 2019 9:00am Eastern Time. Late responses will not be considered.
