- The purpose of amendment 0001 is to accomplish the following:1. Remove Topic 5.32. Remove Topic 5.43. Remove Topic 11.14. Add Topic 5.5Please do not submit white papers for the aforementioned removed topics. For clarity, white papaers are due 3:00PM *Eastern Standard Time* on January 7, 2020. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain the same. See below:The Center for Disease Control is issuing Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Number 75D301-20-R-67837. The NAICS code for this BAA is 541715, Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology and Nanotechnology) with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This BAA is open and in effect for 46 days from the date of issuance (November 22, 2019 through January 7, 2020). THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE CALL FOR WHITE PAPERS. Prior to submission of a white paper, offerors are strongly encouraged to contact the CDC BAA technical point of contact for the research topic/subtopic of interest. White papers must be received electronically by 3:00 PM EST on January 7, 2020 in order to be considered for further evaluation. White papers should be submitted electronically to the mailbox at oadsbaaprojects@cdc.gov with a copy to the BAA Technical Coordinator, Diana Barlett at dbarltlett@cdc.gov, and with a copy to Dr. Mim Kelly at Mkelly2@cdc.gov. *Please allow adequate time for your submission to get through the CDC firewall. We highly recommend allowing 5 or more minutes for this process. All white papers received after the 3:00 p.m. deadline will not be considered for review*
