- PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUEDi. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with theformat in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.ii. This solicitation is subject to FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds (Apr 1984)Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under thiscontract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment forcontract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for anypayment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contractand until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by theContracting Officer.iii. The solicitation number 12FPC42Q0002 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Theacquisition procedures at FAR Parts 12 & 13 are being utilized. The Government anticipates theaward of a firm-fixed-price, commercial contract. Award will be made to the responsible offerorwhose quote responds to the terms of this RFQ and is the best value for the Government. It isestimated that the magnitude of the project is under $100,000.
