- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Outboard Motor Supply, Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, MA.THE WORK CONSISTS OF:Supply and deliver four new 250 horsepower four stroke outboard marine engines that will be used to repower two 25 foot Safe Boat defender class patrol boats. Two engines shall be right hand rotation and two counter rotating. Engine shaft length is 30 inches. Engines shall be delivered with appropriate sized 3-blade stainless steel propellers and wiring harnesses. Required materials also include two duel top mount throttle controls with trim and tilt and two gauge packages for rpm and trim/tilt. Engines shall be designed for demanding commercial and law enforcement duty cycles in the northeast salt water environment. New equipment shall be provided in accordance with the following requirements and schedule. Installation of the new engines is not included in this scope. This is not a request for offers at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about December 17, 2019. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 33618 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1500 employees.ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NONRESPONSIVE.
