This laser will be used to simulate the MK 46 system available onboard a ship for testing various coatings and their infra-red transmissibility. P/N: U1570E008R020HW (Brand name or equal) QTY: 1 The IR laser must be portable and provide 8mJ or greater pulses with pulse widths of less than 20ns at a wavelength between 1.54 and 1.57 micro meter to provide an accurate representation of the effects a standard IR laser will have on an optical coating system.This is not a rated order under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System INSTRUCTIONS TO INDUSTRY:No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
