- Amendment 0002 is attached.The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data (other thanGovernment Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul for the following item:NOMENCLATURE: CONTROL GENERATORInput/Output NSN: 6110-01-123-0157Input/Output P/N: 179-60500-5Estimated Qty Range: 20 Minimum - 332 MaximumThe applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335312 and the size standard is1,250 employees. Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort should respond to thisnotice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicalbe. All submissions must include fullcompany name, Point of Contacts (POCs) to include name, position, office and mobile telephone numbers, andemail address.The proposed contractual action is a Five (5) year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity(IDIQ) maintenance and overhaul contact with a minimum quantity of 20 each and a maximum quantity of 332each. The maximum quantity includes a a quantity of 52 each designated for Foreign Military Sales (FMS). TheCONTROL GENERATOR is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR)-55-6110-227, revision date 19 July 2013. The overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with Governmentspecifications.Contractor are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source bysubmitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures. Theseprocedures are outlined at the following website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casl_cmo_home.Questions concerning SAR submissions can be directed to the ED SAR Team at EDSAR@amrdec.army.mil orcall the SAR Team at 256-313-8978, 256-313-0341, or 256-313-8994. The solicitation will not close prior to theclosing date stated on the solicitation.This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitmentby the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a RFP. A synopsis will be issued at alater date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will bemade for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-upinformation requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to thisannouncement or Government use of any information provided. This announcement does not restrict theGovernment to an ultimate acquisition strategy. The Government reserves the right to consider acquisitionstrategies as deemed appropriate.Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.
