- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Ray Brook, NY intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Adirondack Trailways, 469 Hurley Ave., Hurley, NY 12443. This award will be for single ticket purchases for local bus transportation. The period of performance for this procurement will be from October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.To the best of our knowledge, this requirement can only be met through Adirondack Trailways. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations as no solicitation document is available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been certified and approved for Adirondack Trailways.Other vendors who believe they can meet the above requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by December 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply transportation services that will comply with the requirements in a satisfactory manner. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the government to not compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Adirondack Trailways.Responses may be emailed to mallen@bop.gov by the deadline stated above.
