Description

NOTICE OF INTENT:The Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch, Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Osteomed LLC, a small business, under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for patient specific OsteoMed Craniofacial Fixation Set with OSA Orthognathic Module Solution Implants, Disposables, and Instrumentation for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CDAMC) Fort Hood, TX 76544, on or about 25 November 2019. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113, and the size standard is 750 employees.This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for Craniofacial Fixation Set with OSA Orthognathic Module Solution Implants, Disposables, and Instrumentation. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.The Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch intends to make a sole source award to Osteomed LLC., 3885 Arapaho Road, Addison, TX 75001-4314
