- Description
- This DRAFT Solicitation for AN/VSQ-6B Vehicle Optics Sensor System (VOSS) Camera and Lens Assembly is hereby competed under Solicitation W56JSR-19-R-0004. Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center intent is to build, through this contract, the capability to provide, as a service for primarily Army Customers. The Army requires repair services and delivery of the repaired Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) part, Camera and Lens Assembly NSN 6720-01-618-6246 Part Number 330-0143-000. The LRU shall be inspected, tested, repaired and delivered to the Government. Questions regarding this Solicitation must be in writing and directed via email toChere Benson, Contract Specialist at chere.v.benson.civ@mail.mil and Andrew Dellomo, Contracting Officer at Andrew.i.dellomo.civ@mail.mil. All correspondence must reference Solicitation Number W56JSR-19-R-0004.The cut-off for questions is 07 November 2019 at 1300 hours, Eastern Standard Time. All questions submitted before the cut-off will be answered electronically, all vendors will see both the questions and answers. However the identity of the person or company asking the questions will not be disclosed.THIS HAS BEEN A DRAFT THE FINAL RFP WILL BE PUBLISHED ASAP WITH A 30 DAY RESPONSE TIMETHE FOLLOWING IS THE GOVERNMENT'S RESPONSE TO A QUESTION RECEIVED REGARDING THE DRAFT SOLICITATIONQ1. Is there an available Technical Data Package (TDP) for AN/VSQ-6B Vehicle Optics Sensor System (VOSS)?Answer: Yes, the Government does possess some of the TDPs for this VOSS System- However, the Government does not own a complete TDP that would assist a potential bidder to understand or repair this particular line replaceable unit (IR Camera and Lens). Q1 PART 2 Or any type of technical data support (manuals, drawings, parts lists etc.) that is available for review by bidders?Answer Part 2: The manuals and drawings that the Government possesses are all at the system level which would not assist a potential bidder to understand or repair this particular line replaceable unit (IR Camera and Lens).
