- Description
- NASA Headquarters (HQ) plans to award a follow-on contract for NASA Research and Education Support Services-II (NRESS-II). The NRESS-II acquisition supports the Science Mission Directorate, Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate, Space Technology Mission Directorate, and the Office of STEM Engagement. The principal purpose of the NRESS-II contract is to acquire professional support services, information technology support, and other related services for the NRESS program that supports the agency’s peer review life cycle and the research objectives of the customer directorates.It is anticipated that the subject contract will be a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year ordering period. The period of performance will be five years from the anticipated contract effective date of on or about February 1, 2021.The Government anticipates a release of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) on or about December 16, 2019. This will be an opportunity for potential offerors to provide questions, comments, or any concerns regarding the DRFP and attachments, which includes the statement of work (SOW). No proposal/offer is to be submitted during this posting.The Government anticipates a release date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about February 3, 2020, with an anticipated offer due date on or about March 4, 2020.The Government anticipates award of a resultant contract on or about December 1, 2020.This procurement will be an 8(a) competition.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561110, Office Administrative Services, with a size standard of $7 million.All responsible sources may submit an offer when applicable, which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html.The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
