- Description
- This project consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary for: (1) Removing existing copper conductor and reconductoring 7.5-miles of transmission line with ACSS conductor. (2) Removing two (2) existing steel overhead ground wires and installing one (1) Government-furnished optical ground wire and furnishing and installing one (1) steel overhead ground wire on 7.5-miles of transmission line. (3) Removing eight (8) transmission line wood pole structures and one (1) transmission line light-duty steel pole structures. Installing eight (8) new transmission line light-duty steel structures and one (1) new transmission line heavy-duty steel pole structure. (4) Furnishing, installing and terminating fiber optics at Kofa Substation (KOF). (5) Furnishing and installing aluminum conductor and associated fittings at Kofa Substation. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings.
