- Bridge Construction SFIR 3(1). Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Set-Aside under the Buy Indian Act (for both Small and Large Native American Indian/Native Alaskan owned Economic Enterprises).The U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office, Phoenix, AZ intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Solicitation for Project SFIR 3(1), INDIAN BEND BRIDGE - CONSTRUCTION SERVICES - SOUTH FORK BAND OF THE TE-MOAK TRIBE: Acquire labor, equipment, materials and services to remove and dispose existing debris from former bridge, grade, drain and place aggregate surface course on 0.26 miles of roadway and construct a new bridge on Route 3 on the South Fork Indian Reservation, Elko County, Nevada. Technical specifications are to be Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects, FP-14 with modification in the Special Contract Requirements. The Contractor shall provide all labor and supervision, materials, and equipment required to complete the requirement.This acquisition is a 100% Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Set Aside in compliance with the Buy Indian Act. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude of this project is currently estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 The project Performance Period will be 210 calendar days from the effective Notice to Proceed date.Contractor registration in the Government�s System for Award Management (SAM) is required in order to be eligible for the contract award. Registration may be completed and information regarding the registration process may be obtained at http://www.sam.gov. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is on or about the week of December 16, 2019, with bids being due (bid opening) on or about January 23, 2020, Thursday, 2:00 PM MST (Phoenix, AZ local time). Once issued, solicitation documents will be available electronically for download at https://www.fedconnect.net. All responsible IEE sources may submit a bid and will be considered.
