- Am-0002 extends the bid due date to 11 December 2019. No other changes are included with Am-0002.The bid due date will be extended to 11 December 2019. A formal amendment will be issued in the near future.On or about 20 September 2019, this office will issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Renovation of the Wing Command Post 90, MW Building 250, F.E. Warren AFB, WY. The solicitation will close on or about 3 December 2019. This solicitation is a 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. All contractors must be registered and have an active and verified account in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a contract award from any DoD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: https://www.sam.gov/ to register and/or obtain information about the SAM program. Contractors must ensure that the applicable NAICS code 236220 is included in their profile prior to submission of offer.A site visit for the project will be held. Provisions in the solicitation documents will provide detailed information (meeting place, time, points of contact, and access requirements). See SITE VISIT in solicitation Section 00 21 00.DO NOT submit requests for plans and specifications to the site visit personnel listed above. See ‘Obtaining Solicitation Documents' below.Project Description: (Approx. quantities)Renovation of Wing Command Post 90 in Building 250 and associated facilities and infrastructure at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. Building 250 is an existing building built in 1909 and converted to a headquarters and command post in 1963. It is a two-story building with a basement for a total of three stories. The exterior walls are a combination of concrete block, stone, brick and concrete. The interior is a combination of steel and wood construction.This renovation will be for approximately two-thirds of the basement, consisting of the north and east wings for total area of 11,468 square feet. Project construction will include the removal of the concrete floor slab in a portion of the north wing of the basement, lowering of the slab elevation by 14 inches (removing dirt), and pouring a new concrete slab at the new, lower elevation. The project will also include demolition of interior non-load bearing partitions, finishes, restrooms and associated utilities to the extent required to construct the new floor plan. Construction includes new walls, restrooms, doors, finishes and associated utilities.The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work in the proposed number of calendar days (Not to Exceed 365 calendar days) after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. The above project description is for information only.
