- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale one (1) item of standing timber on approximately 95 acres within two (2) separate blocks at Ethan Allen Firing Range Installation, Chittenden County, Vermont of which approximately the following volumes to be harvested:The sales are sold per Item by unit, harvested timber will be sold by MBF Scaled at the receiving mill and by WEIGHT by the ton.Item 1:Obstacle Course ON 1 BLOCK (51 ACRES)WHITE PINE -- 146 MBFRED MAPLE - 51 MBFWHITE ASH - 26 MBFASPEN - 18 MBFBLACK CHERRY - 18 MBFPAPER BIRCH - 14 MBFHARDWOOD PULPWOOD - 60 CordFIREWOOD - 140 CordCHIPWOOD - 1900 TonROUNDWOOD - 50 TonFiring Point 4 ON 1 BLOCK (44 ACRES)RED MAPLE - 57 MBFWHITE ASH - 21 MBFPAPER BIRCH - 18 MBFBLACK CHERRY - 11 MBFWHITE PINE -- 10 MBFSUGAR MAPLE - 7 MBFRED OAK - 6 MBFHARDWOOD PULPWOOD - 100 CordFIREWOOD - 120 CordCHIPWOOD - 1320 TonROUNDWOOD - 150 TonContract Period of Performance:Item # one (1) Obstacle Course Timbersale and Firing Point 4 Timbersale: All tree felling shall be complete by 15 April 2021; tree skidding, processing, and hauling must be complete 31 May 2021; and all site repair work as directed must be complete by 30 June 2021. INSPECTION INVITED ON FRIDAY 3 January 2020 AT 10:00 a.m. AN ADDITIONAL DATE AND TIME MAY BE AVAILABE DEPENDING ON ADDITIONAL INTEREST.
