- Description
- Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) Office has a Brand Name requirement for Potential Transformers (PT). The requirement is for Ritz GSE 20 Type transformers. This is a brand name requirement. Contractors must be licensed with Ritz USA and provide documentation that the PT’s they are quoting include the 3 year warranty and support from Ritz USA.The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price, contract. Terms include FOB Destination to Montrose, Colorado. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued as a brand name, competitive, small business set aside. The NAICS code is 335311; the applicable size standard is 750 employees. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued electronically on or about December 3, 2019, at which time all information and attachments regarding the RFQ will be posted. Contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submission of quote in order to be considered for award. DUNS number is required for SAM registration. NOTE: Quotes shall be due by 2:00 p.m. EDT, December 10, 2019. Quotes shall be submitted via email to Carol Hammans, Contracting Officer (hammans@wapa.gov) or via FedConnect.net. All questions regarding this RFQ shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer, NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
