- The purpose of this amendment to the sources sought is to provide additional information regarding the type of services that the Government need from the interim and on call dental support:Services will include, but not limited to, providing direct care to patients in a responsible, respectful and caring manner. Professional duties include: Diagnosis and general management of the teeth Care and treatment of oral disease Dental procedures and the ordering of medications Consulting with Area or Indian Health Service (IHS) Dental Consultant on complex dental cases Refer patients requiring other health services to the appropriate health professional Provide oral health/dental education and counseling to patients(End of Sources Sought Amendment)This is a Sources Sought Notice. This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for quotes. A request for quotes will be issued at a later date.This is a Small Business Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. There is no solicitation available at this time. We are seeking firms who can furnish a local dental provider support services in Colville Service Unit, Washington for market research purposes. Colville Service Unit have two clinics located in Nespelem and Omak Washington. The Contractor shall provide an interim and on call dental support up to 5 days (estimated) a week for one year from date of award or 5 years including options. The clinics are open five (5) days a week from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm local time, except for Wednesday; the hours are from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm local time. Please note that in accordance with 25 USC 14, Buy Indian Act, a preference will be given to Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) firms. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of all qualified native small businesses or small businesses firms; (2) whether they are; HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification according to the North American Industry Classification System Code is 621210 for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested in this notice will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.Period of Performance: One (1) Year from Date of Award or Five (5) years (including options).Interested parties shall not be reimbursed for costs associated with preparation of their responses. Any proprietary information should be so marked. Interested organizations presenting a Capability Statement in response to this Small Business Sources Sought Synopsis must identify their size status.Indian Economic Enterprise Representation.To be considered for an IHS contract awarded under the Buy Indian Act, an offeror must represent that it meets the definition of “Indian economic enterprise” in response to a specific solicitation set-aside in accordance with this IHM.
