- Description
- This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions".U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District, intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Pacific Power Group. The statuatory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and DFARS 206.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements.Contractor shall provide:sixteen (16) MTU 8V4000 Injectors, part #EX524075000273twenty-four (24) MTU 12V2000 Injectors, part #E0060704101twenty-four (24) MTU 12V2000 Nozzle ASM, part #0010100851All parts shall be genuine MTU parts from an authorized dealer.A solicitation will NOT be posted. The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The size standard is $7.5M as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration.This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotations. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the contracting officer before the notice end date. If no affirmative written responses are by 1000 AM local time on 13-DEC-2019, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
