Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This IS NOT a request for proposal or a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Market Research and Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge and information of potential qualified firms. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government in making appropriate acquisition decisions. There will be no compensation provided for any submissions provided to the Government. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract.The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualification of various members of industry, to include Large Businesses, Small Businesses and Not for Profit.The Bureau of Land Management, National Operations Center, Denver, Colorado, is seeking information from qualified, experienced, and interested sources with the capacity and technical capability necessary to successfully perform general maintenance at the BLM National Operation Center, Denver, Colorado. The general maintenance functions for BLM are located at the Warehouse, Buildings 41, 53 and 50 on the Denver Federal Center. The Government will utilize information received from this sources sought in determining an acquisition strategy. Sources are being sought for firms with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561210- Facilities Support Services- with a Small Business Size Standard of $41,500,000.00 Million. Please state all of the socio-economic categories in which your company belongs, if any (8(a), Hub-zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned).The requirement shall provide non-personal services, to include, but are not limited to: 1.Paper Distribution and Recycling. The support shall include distribution of paper to all BLM printer locations within building 41, 50, and 53. Extra pallets of paper shall be stored in the warehouse. Collection of all recycled paper and cardboard from building 41, 50, and 53. The collected recycled items are placed in the blue bins located at the dock; door S-1, Building 50. Provide any other recycling related services, as requested.2. General maintenance. The support shall include maintenance not provided by GSA within the BLM leased spaces of building 41, 53 and 50. Examples include moving furniture, replacing light bulbs, performing janitorial services, and assisting in deliveries of items such as computers, furniture, supplies, etc. Provide any other building maintenance related services, as requested.3. Warehouse storage and moving. Support shall include moving items from BLM buildings to other BLM buildings for storage or to the warehouse for storage. Retrieving items from storage and delivering to the appropriate BLM location4. Furniture. The support shall include installation, configuring, adjusting, maintaining and repairing BLM cubicle furniture. The BLM cubicle furniture is Steelcase (90%) and AIS (10%). Provide any other furniture related services, as requested.Hours of maintenance: every Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. MST to 3:30 p.m. except if the Tuesday lands on a Federal holiday or is a day when the BLM may be officially closed due to inclement weather.
