- Description
- Contractor shall provide post-wide refuse collection services for the Fort Sill, Oklahoma Army Post. The period of performance (POP) is 1 April 2020 through 31 March 2021 for the base period, followed by four (4), one-year option periods. The work shall be conducted in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of the resulting contract, performance work statement and commercial practices.The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111 - Solid Waste Collection, and the small business size standard is $41.5 Million. Subsequent Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 4 December 2019. A site visit/Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted 11 December 2019. Site Visit instructions will be provided in the Invitation for Bid (IFB). Contractors interested in doing business with the Government are required to be registered the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the time of bid submission.The Government will issue a 100% Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business Set-Aside invitation for bids for post wide refuse collection services. After bids are publically opened, an award will be made with reasonable promptness to that responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation.The entire invitation for bid package will be made available on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://beta.sam.gov. Requests for copies of the solicitation package by any other means will not be honored. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring the SAM website for the release of the invitation for bids package and/or subsequent amendments. The closing date for submission of bids will be listed in the official solicitation.Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors shall be registered in the SAM database prior to award of a contract. This announcement is not a request for proposals/invitation for bid, and does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
