- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing and demonstrating information provided to the Government. Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is seeking a demonstration of either gas-powered or electric-powered passenger shuttles with a capacity of between 10 and 30 people. These would be operated on paved surfaces on hilly terrain in primarily warm and humid summer weather conditions, be subject to rain and/or thunderstorms, would need tooperate up to 3 hours at a time at full capacity without need to recharge. Vehicles should have a roof covering, windshield, windshield wipers, brake lights, and headlights and tail lights for night operation. The vehicles need not be street-legal, and should not exceed 15 mph capability. They would need to pass through a tunnel and therefore cannot exceed 10 feet in height. Wolf Trap National Park is requesting vendors to attend the Industry Day to demonstrate the shuttles that may meet the park's needs on Wednesday, December 18 2019 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST at Wolf Trap National Park, 1551 Trap Road, Vienna, VA 22182.
