- Description
- Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health ContractingOffice-Pacific (Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Cell), Lacey, WA, intends to issue asole source award to Cochlear Americas Corporation in the estimated amount of $ 32,000.00 topurchase Nucleus and BAHA Implants for surgery that will be used in patient specific surgerieslocated in the Department of Anesthesia and Operative Service at Madigan Army Medical Center(MAMC), JBLM, Tacoma, WA. Prior to the surgery, the surgeon shall make the determination that theseproducts or other branded products will best meet the individual patients’ medicalneeds/requirements. All products must be FDA approved.This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm thatbelieves it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documentsdemonstrating their products capabilities and specifications. Responses received will be used forfuture acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent Ms. Kendre Green,kendre.m.green.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurementwill be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified AcquisitionProcedures.
