- CONTINUATION PAGEHistoric American Buildings SurveyProject #528A5-20-501The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions submitted by an interested vendor. The questions and answers are as followings:What existing/historic drawings are available for the complex, building 33, and building 34?Original drawings of each building on campus are available on vellum in our engineering archive. These drawings were also scanned and are available as PDFs or TIFs. Existing drawings are available as dwg files (CAD), they can be emailed to the contractor for reproduction.If existing/historic drawings are available, how many sheets for each building? Historic drawings: Average 25 sheets per building (Architectural, Civil, Structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing plans)Existing drawings: 4 floor plans per buildingIf existing/historic drawings are available, are the drawings accessible to the public negating the need to be reproduced? Yes, they are available, however people interested in viewing and copying them must obtain a permission from Engineering.What is the number of historic photographs that need reproducing? 2 photographs from 40 s showing original construction of B34. A few photographs from 80 s (+/-20pc) showing some interior updates, mostly plumbing/piping and some exterior views, also 2 or 3 photographs showing B34 staircase constructionIf historic photographs are available, are the historic photographs accessible to the public negating the need to be reproduced? YES, 2 photographs are showcased in the hallway-available to the public. Rest is in the archive. Photographs can be taken out of the archive by Engineering and shown to public.What is the project timeline? Have considerations been made for weather (note NPS generally prefers photographs without snow on the ground)? The period of performance is 90 days from contract award; to be completed by May 2020 the latest. Do the 360 degree photographs taken from Building 1 tower constitute aerial photographs as specified in the NPS letter from Catherine Turton dated August 6, 2019? Yes, using building 1 tower for aerial photography is sufficient.What current architectural/engineering drawings are available in CAD/GIS format for use in drawing a site map? CAD drawings of all buildings, including 33 and 34, are available in CAN VA Engineering Drawing file. Elevation CAD drawings do not exist. Site plan drawing in CAD is available.What is the budget?
