- Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Services, East Branch Clarion River LakeThe U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, has a need for a Requirements contract for Buildingsand Grounds Maintenance Services at East Branch Clarion River Lake. The project is located in Elk County, innorthwestern Pennsylvania. Public-use facilities owned and operated by USACE at East Branch Clarion River Lakeinclude an Overlook Picnic Area, Shady Ridge Nature Trail, Campground and Boat Launch Area. Non-public areasinclude Administration and Dam and Communication Areas.The Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel, andvehicles as required to mow grass, maintain landscape, clean restroom and office facilities, remove solid waste andraw sewage and other services in accordance with procedures established in the Performance Work Statement whichwill be provided with the solicitation.The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561730, Landscaping Services, and the small business size standard is$8,000,000. The proposed period of performance will be a base year from 1 March 2020 - 28 February 2021 with four(4), one (1) year option periods. The government is planning a pre-quote site visit for 11 December 2019 at 12:30 p.m.Quoters are expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding allgeneral and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information isreasonably obtainable.The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside on or about December 2, 2019 onlineonly through the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.beta.sam.gov).Contractors must be registered and Active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database by the Request forQuote due date in order to receive any federal contract award (visit www.sam.gov to register).
