- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort McCoy, has a requirement for a design-build multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (MAID-IQ) construction contract for the 63rd RD Region 3, for the states of AZ, NM, and NV.The purpose of the MAID-IQ is to provide construction services for a broad range of renovation and construction projects, to include repair and alteration of real property, as well as new minor construction. Work performed under these contracts will include but not be limited to the following general project categories: Construction, repair and alteration of various facilities; Construction, repairs and alteration of Electrical Systems (ES); Construction, repair and alteration of Mechanical Systems (e.g. HVAC systems, and controls), Construction, repair and alteration of Site Civil Systems, Construction, repair and alteration of Fire Protection Systems, Construction, repair and alteration of Architectural Systems. Resultant task orders may be based on Government provided 35%, 65%, or 100% designs or may require the contractor provide a design to build the project.The solicitation for this requirement will be issued as an Invitation for Bid using the procedures outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14. It is anticipated that this requirement will be awarded as a firm fixed price type contract.It is anticipated the resultant contract will be a five year contract with no option periods.The primary NAICS code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.This procurement is anticipated to be a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) set-aside.It is anticipated that a maximum of 3 awards will be made from this solicitation. The maximum value of these contracts will be $15M total (for all 3 awards, not for each awardee), which covers the five year ordering period. Historical data for Region 3 has shown an approximate value of $3M per year total in project awards.Invitation for Bids will be available electronically via FBO on or about 13 January 2020. Bids will be due on or about 13 February 2020.Site visit information will be posted with the IFB.Parties interested in the solicitation shall access the web page for issuance of the solicitation, associated documents, amendments; contractors will not be directly notified of solicitation amendments.
