- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, Laurel, MD has a requirement to furnish and install structural steel covers and skylights (8 each) over animal pens and 1 each over a refrigeration pad. Quotations are being requested under Request for Quotes 140G0120Q0046, which will be posted at Beta.sam.gov (Contract Opportunities) and FedConnect.net on or about 12/05/2019. Interested vendors are responsible for monitoring the posting sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). There will be a site visit conducted at Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, 12100 Beech Forest Rd, Laurel, MD 20708. The site visit will be held on Wednesday, 12/11/2019 at 2:00 PM ET. Further details regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation when it is issued. Quotes will be due on or about 12/20/2019 (exact date/time to be provided in the solicitation). The NAICS code is 332311 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This solicitation will be set aside for small business. FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, will be used in awarding the contract.
